Irene Snyder named Points of Distinction Scholar

Irene Snyder, a senior Communications/Sociology and Anthropology major, from Dover, was named the Points of Distinction Award winner at Elizabethtown College.

Nominees must demonstrate an effective integration of the four strategic signature learning attributes of an Elizabethtown College education: relationship-centered learning, international and cross-cultural perspectives, real-world learning and purposeful life work. Evidence of the integration may include learning achieved through an advising or mentoring relationship, international study or cross-cultural service project, an internship experience, a campus or community leadership role, or a challenging research project.

Students were nominated by faculty and staff members; they must full-time students in good standing with a 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA.
